As John Cotton Dana said,"Who dares to teach must never cease to learn". I believe that a successful teacher is a teacher who seeks to learn everyday and enrich her/ his knowledge. Therefore, I tend to improve myself by researching, learning new methodologies to create motivation in my class, and learning from other experiences. Here is my blog, and hope it is going to be a great experience that I will be using in my classes.

Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see your blog.It is a thought-provoking quote to start reflection with. I remember one Greek philosopher's saying, "A person keeps on learning throughout his/her life even at the time of death. One of his student asked, "How?" He replied, "At the time of death, a person learns how to die."
Learning should always be accompanied with teaching. Teacher will teach well if he/she has got something to share. Yes, by developing the habit reading, introspection, researching and trying innovation, one can improve as a teacher.

Hi Karen
ReplyDeleteWhat inspiring words you really added to your blog. I liked the words by John Cotton Dana "Who dares to teach must never cease to learn". In this course I think we not only learn but rather reflect on how we teach too.
